Would you choose money over love and live a normal life? Would you choose to defy your own father when you want goodness and righteousness to prevail?
For the Philippine version Lupin III, I guess his answer is no but circumstances have prevented him for living just a normal life. Due to his father’s evil nature, Lupin was forced to hate his own father because the latter steals his happiness and deprives Lupin to live a good, peaceful life with his love interest, Angelie.
And in the story of Lupin III, the main character continues to defend himself, his friends (his remaining loved ones) from the threat of greedy people like Duroy and Ybrahim Santiago. I should say, Lupin was forced to fight against evil because he is being sought by it.
So, maybe you were wondering where was I able to watch the Pinoy version of Lupin III.
